Former Amazon and Morgan Stanley alum Abhi Anantharaman joins Syndigo as Chief Technology Officer
Syndigo, a SaaS commerce data and product experience management provider, has announced four new executive appointments.
Former Amazon and Morgan Stanley alum, Abhi Anantharaman, joins as Chief Technology Officer, and Syndigo’s Product Experience Management President, Tarun Chandrasekhar, is stepping into the role of Chief Product Officer.
Additionally, the company has created two new roles: Vinny Maurici joins from Object Edge as EVP of Global Services and former Storyblocks and Shopify marketing leader, Leah Allen, becomes Chief Marketing Officer.
“As the industry leader in PXM, we are excited to add additional market expertise to our organisation with these four executives, each of whom brings a proven track record of success,” says Simon Angove, CEO at Syndigo. “We will continue to invest in our product roadmap and go-to-market teams as we look ahead to a period of innovation and advancement.”
Anantharaman has 20+ years of experience in scaling and transforming tech companies, most recently Poppulo; Chandrasekhar’s career spans work in product, customer success, corporate strategy, M&A and sales leadership; Maurici has nearly two decades of experience in master data management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) consulting and global software product development; and Allen has a track record of driving companies’ go-to-market strategies and elevating revenue growth.
“These strategic executive appointments build on the solid foundation we have established here at Syndigo,” Angove says. “Our investments in people, technology, and our product roadmap around MDM, PIM, and PXM for commerce have us well positioned to support our customers and their commerce goals. I look forward to working with our entire executive team to serve our customers well and achieve our growth plans in 2025 and beyond.”
2024 RTIH INNOVATION AWARDS
PXM was a key focus area at the sixth edition of the RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards celebrate global tech innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our 2024 hall of fame entrants were revealed during an event which took place at RIBA’s 66 Portland Place HQ in Central London on 21st November, and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by comedian Lucy Porter.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “The event is now into its sixth year and what a journey it has been. The awards started life as an online only affair during the Covid outbreak, before launching as a small scale in real life event and growing year on year to the point where we’re now selling out this fine, historic venue.”
He added: “Congratulations to all of our finalists. Many submissions did not make it through to the final stage, and getting to this point is no mean feat. Checkout-free stores, automated supply chains, immersive experiences, on-demand delivery, next generation loyalty offerings, inclusive retail, green technology. We’ve got all the cool stuff covered this evening.”
“But just importantly we’ve got lots of great examples of companies taking innovative tech and making it usable in everyday operations - resulting in more efficiency and profitability in all areas.”
Congratulations to our 2024 winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Lucy Porter, and all those who attended November's gathering.
